Finally, people are beginning to see the light!! We do not NEED animal products AT ALL....they simply are not necessary. And of course, we all know NO ONE needs any processed, artificial foods. We now know that animal products are not only responsible for heart disease, but cancer as well as all the other diseases we have today.
For a health care provider as big as Kaiser recommending physicians to become educated in a Whole Food Plant Based diet is a major break-through. We must get to the root of the problem and stop it....taking pills is not going to CURE anything....they just will not. There is so much scientific evidence out there giving us all the proof we need to turn our health care system around....instead, it's a 'secret'....who will make money off of people that are controlling their health with foods found in nature, foods that haven't been stripped of something or had ingredients pumped into it?
The bottom line is, a Whole Food Plant Based diet is the optimal diet for your health. Everything your body needs can be found in plants....protein, calcium, good fats, (avocados, nuts, etc.), good carbohydrates, fiber, as well as all the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytochemicals. Animal products come with ZERO antioxidants, phytochemicals and fiber. Our body needs all the ammunition it can get to fight off all the toxins that we get bombarded with on a daily basis....the most powerful ammunition we can get comes from plants!
I read something that stated "cholesterol is the animal's revenge"....the animal leaves the cholesterol behind to clog up arteries. In regards to cholesterol, it doesn't matter if we are talking about beef, chicken, turkey, pork or fish...anything with a face and a mother is going to leave behind cholesterol in your arteries. Many people believe that by eating chicken and fish, they are doing themselves a huge favor....think again.....chicken has AS MUCH CHOLESTEROL AS BEEF and fish is not too far behind!
Food has everything to do with your health. So many people will tell me they would rather die happy than give up meat and dairy, but I really don't believe them. If a doctor told their patient they had one month to live, to go home and get their affairs in order, OR change your diet dramatically so your body can heal itself and reverse all the damage done giving you a "second chance" at life, I believe ANYONE would be more than willing to change their diet. Because it's so simple, people just don't realize they have the answer to their problems at the end of their forks.
There really is not one good reason to put any animal products into your body....Not one......
