There is a much better way to go through the holidays without gaining all that weight. There are so many recipes at our fingertips--of course, some healthy and some absolutely not so healthy--we just need to choose healthier options and get prepared!
We can stay on a Whole Food Plant Based diet and still enjoy mouth-watering dishes without all the calories. These dishes are not any "more difficult" to make than our "traditional" holiday dishes.
Take for instance this very festive butternut roast--it can be made a few days in advance and just warmed up when ready to serve. This would look beautiful on any holiday table. I have attached the recipe below.
Remember, you can eat healthy, delicious food all the way through the holiday season without sacrificing taste--choose festive holiday recipes that are whole food plant based, and you won't be dreading the scale on January 1st!
