Don't stress over making all the recipes--this is a guideline with a variety of dishes to pick and choose from. Because most of us put meat at the center of our plate and fill in with "sides" and the "sides" are now going to be filling our plates, I wanted to help you see what our plates should look like.
Hopefully you have looked over the Meal Plan for Week 1 and have purchased and prepped some foods so you are ready to dive in. Again, this does not have to be stressful--oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, a huge salad for lunch, a baked potato or rice with a pile of veggies for dinner. Easy!! Grab fruit in between meals if you are hungry--if you truly are not hungry, then don't eat. It really is as simple as that.
